Everything You Need To Know About Tiger Cubs And Junior Camps

Our Junior Camps run throughout the Easter holidays and Tiger Cubs is a Sunday competition that runs from 15th April to 7th October. Both have the aim of getting kids into the game of golf with fun activities and friendly competitions. Tiger Cubs

Introduce juniors to the competitive side of golf at our Tiger Cubs competitions. Held every Sunday from 15th April to 7th October, Tiger Cubs play on The Oaks par 3 course where they first play for their handicap, and then they start competing in their age range and experience division for trophies and prizes.

Not only will they gain confidence in their golf game, they’ll build great relationships with other juniors in the Tiger Cubs clubs and with the staff at Leeds Golf Centre too.

The juniors play a variety of holes on the golf course with the more advanced players playing the back 9 of Wike Ridge course. This allows each individual to progress and means there really is something for everyone!

Of course, as this is a more competitive atmosphere, we present the juniors with prizes and trophies at the Leeds Golf Centre presentation night in November. This includes Order of Merit winners and Matchplay winners – the kids really feel like they’ve achieved something on these nights.

Tee times on Sundays between 8am – 10.30am

Prices
£10 per week to play in a tournament
£175 for full Tiger Clubs memberships where you receive a Tiger Cubs shirt and hat, membership to the par 3 course which you can play and practice on at any time, and entry to all competitions for the season.

Who can join in?
Junior golfers aged 14 or under are eligible to play in the Tiger Cubs. It’s no problem if they have a membership at another club or have tuition elsewhere. We want everyone to be involved in the Tiger Cubs!

Junior Camps

Do the kids need occupying in the holidays? Get them involved in the Junior Camps! Our Junior Camps are sessions that run during the school holidays and give juniors a great introduction into the game of golf.

Our Junior Camps are more general than our Tiger Cubs so they cover all bases and they’re fun too. Kids get tuition on their short game, long game and putting through various fun activities and on course tuition. They even get their lunch provided too!

They can either attend for the full week or on single days if it’s more suitable for your availability.

Prices
£40 per day or £180 for the full week.

Who can join in?
Suitable for kids aged between 6 and 14 years of age. We cater for all abilities.

What does it include?
Full tuition from one of Leeds Golf Centre’s PGA pros.
Daily lunch.
